In November 2016, the first two tier bike rack garage in Hangzhou was installed in the public service point of Hangzhou Railway East Station and put into service.

This two tier bike parking system consists of upper and bottom levels with a row of vertical lifting racks and tens of horizontal sliding racks. It’s easy to load the bikes onto the upper racks, and then it’s allowed to park the bikes on the bottom racks.

Independent parking spaces on upper level. The parking spaces on bottom level are connected with a sliding rail, and can slide on the rail. Double or three times of bikes can park in the same space.
Public Bike Leasing Spot
This is the first public bike leasing spot in Hangzhou.
There are about 30 posts.It can contain about 100 bikes.
It can increase the bike parking capacity greatly in Hangzhou Railway Station.
You can borrow any bike with your ID card, and the whole bike parking lot needn’t be managed by any person, so it’s a valet parking lot for two tier bike racks. This bike parking lot is used by more and more people every day. It has brought a lot of conveniences for people in Hangzhou Railway East Station.
Such large bike parking lot is often applied in large crowded railway/subway station, bus stations, etc.
